THE ONTARIO COMMUNITY PARAMEDICINE REPORTING GUIDELINES

Guidance on an expanded reporting framework through establishing a newly proposed Minimum Data set for Community Paramedicine programs. These draft guidelines were developed in collaboration between the OCPS Performance Measures and Evaluation Working Group and health technology partners that are working towards automating the reporting framework.

The Ministry of Health conducted a phase of consultations on public health and emergency health services through the release of two discussion papers. The OCPS prepared responses to specific questions outlined in the emergency health services discussion paper.

2019 REPORT ON THE STATUS OF COMMUNITY PARAMEDICINE IN ONTARIO

This report provides an in-depth review of all community paramedicine activities in Ontario in 2019.  It highlights how multi-dimensional strategies have been implemented to improve delivery of integrated care and contribute to ending hallway healthcare.

The OCPS has prepared a short guide that outlines how community paramedicine programs can be included in Ontario Health Teams.  The information package references multiple examples of community paramedicine programs aligning with OHT goals.
